Just a quick invitation to all who might be interesting in attending the new "Rainbow Recovery" meeting here at Recovery Realm. It will be held weekly on Thurdays, at 8pm Eastern Time Zone (US). Meetings held in the GLBT Room.

The meeting is open to members of all fellowships, and to those who identify, openly or not, as gay, lesbian, bi and transgendered. Its an open meeting so you are free to either share your story, or on any topic or matter that is pertinent to your recovery right now. And of course, being a GLBT meeting, people are also able to freely share on any aspects of their sexuality as it relates to either addiction or recovery.

In line with the traditions and a wish to be inclusive rather than exclusive, if you are straight and you really need a meeting, you are welcome to attend a Rainbow Recovery meeting. However, please advise the chairman privately that you do not identify as GLBT, and you are there as a 'friend'. Time permitting and if all GLBT members have shared, you may then be asked to share if you wish.
