Ever  since this bail-out  stuff has com up  i have  had  varied reactions  from terror  to  extreme anger.  I  cannot help  but believe  that we  as taxpayers  are largely  responsible  for not watching  our elected officials in dc  and the  fianancial wizzards  we charged with  takin care of our investments.  These folks  were  given a responsibility  of reporting to  us and they  failed  miserably.    I  thinkafter all is said and  done in the next  few weeks 537  politicians need to loose their jobs and we should start  over with a new bunch.  We  also need to change THEIR  golden  parachute.  As  of now they  all  have no  incentive to report to the voter  since after one term  they collect full salary  for  life.  They need to pay  into  SS  and  then  draw from it at the same  rate   the rest of us do.  A lot of  the money  for this bailout  has allready been ear marked and that is wrong.  NO bailout bill should be passed with  out maklng  sure there is accountability for it.   the present bill has no  provision  for any accountability.  We should not be bailing  out anyone with  a mortgage they  can't afford.   It occurs to me that  mortgage  rates over the last   ten  years have not  changed more than  a  point or two , even  the ARM's.  That means  anyone  who  purchased a house in the last ten  years should still be able to afford them  unless  they got  stupid and  bough  other stuff they couldn't afford.  I  shouldn't be asked to  "bail"  out  someone fer bein  stupid.  i'd like to  have a big screen  lcd  and other luxuries but i'm forced to  live with in my  budget, Others should also. don't  buy a house if  u  know u  can't pay  for it.  As  for the wall street millionaires, they  shpuldn't  be rwarded  with  multi-million  dollar payout  for  screwin  up  the job.  if u  and i  fail  we get fired,  and  no  payout, they deserve   the same  fate.   I  hope i havn't bore  you  all.  Ty    for readin  it,  howieb
