Hey Gang!!!! I know its been a long time.... I have just been busy and life just keeps throwing curves but hey I'm still sober.... and I keep taking it one day at a time..... I have a great home group here and I go regularly. I have completed the 12 steps but as we know we have to work them daily. I went on a 12th step call just last night... a girl that attends my church called and said her boyfriend was trying to maintain sobriety but was in a bad living situation and she could go get him because of her kids etc.... I told her I'd go... I got a little ify and called some memebers of my group here at home and had one of the Big Guys go with me..... just incase the person go squirly on me. All went well and i was glad I could do it.
I will be celebrating my 1yr of sobriety on Sept 7th 2008 ,,,, woooo hoooo God is Good and I think him everyday I have ppl like you in my life.
My husband and I will be celebrating 10 yrs of marriage and we decided to take a cruise on Sept 1st and it accured to me I would also be celebrating my 1 yr sobriety.... I am happy, I am Clean, and I am grateful for everday I have with folks like you. I miss you all, I will look up the myspace page and add on maybe i can keep in touch better that way. If it weren't for you I'd never have had the gut to walk through the doors of my first meeting.... Keep on keepin on my friends
