Just a few words to let everyone know that you are ALL so very important in my life and my recovery. I am facing some serious medical challenges and I need your prayers and support.
As some of you know I was having a serious problem with my left side. We all thought it was issues with the nerve in my back. That was not the case. I have 2 brain tumors and 1 is inoperable. They will be removing the one that is causing the problem on my left side on July 7th. The other one, I need to rely on God, chemo, radiation and the doctors.
You've heard me talk about sobriety being a roller coaster. Well, belive me it is. Three days ago I was on the top of the world with the birth of mt first grand child. A very healthy little girl. Yesterday, I plunged to the bottom. I'm stunned and I'm scarred. A little over 7 years ago the first thing I would have done in both these cases was to get drunk. I won't lie to you, yesterday it crossed my mind. But only for a second. A fleeting thought. Instead, I treated myself to a Starbucks. LOL A drink or a drug would have done nothing but make it worse. It would have taken me to places I never want to see again.
Thank you all for being here for me. I will visit you when I can and able after the surgery. See all of you tonight at the meeting, if not sooner.

Hey Larry,
You don't know me, but if you know Jesus Christ as your savior and lord, then we are brothers. If not, I will be praying for you from the deepest part of my heart that you will open your heart to him today. I know there are a lot of antichrists in the world, and they always seem to make so much noise about the opinions of men. Don't listen to them, seek Him out for yourself. God loves you, is with you, and is calling you to come to him. I hope that my response doesn't offend you, there are so many today that reject the message of the gospel. I think of the men hanging on either side of Christ on the cross. One reviles him, the other sees him for who he really is, the savior of the world.
I pray that the Lord will give you light, courage, and wisdom. May He comfort you in this time of trial, and I pray that His perfect will be done in your life. Father, I ask that you give Larry strength to stand against the temptations that he experiences, and that through all this he may come to know you more. In Jesus name, Amen.

| I am fairly new to the site and realize that I don't know you as well as others know you. I can say that I'm always happy to see you here and you have helped me more than I can say, especially making me feel comfortable sharing in meetings. Larry - I have much faith and confidence that you'll get through this difficult time. You have SO many people who love you and who are pulling for you. You're a Grandpa now after all!  We are ALL here for you ALWAYS, as you are an inspiration to so, so many of us. You've given me hope, inspiration, and always help put a smile on my face. 
You are in my thoughts and prayers...even more so now.

Larry the Man  ,
I just want to let you know that You are in my Prayers and God will be by your side (as You know) and help you beat this. You have a new Grand Baby and You will be able to watch that baby grow into there Teen Age Years and be able to guide them into the right direction.
You Will be in My Prayers and God will be there with your Hand in His.
Thank-You for being such an inspiration to me and so many others like me that have entered into these rooms to be Greeted Only by Kindness and Understanding.

The true test in life does not occur when all is going well. That would be just too esay. For guys like us Larry ,the true test takes place when we are faced with challenges.
Larry, I wish you all the best in your endeavors as well as struggles in life. Have a fighting spirit and never hesitate to get back in the struggle!

Thanks everyone. You don't know how much it means to me to know that you are all pulling for me. All of you are very much a large part of my life. I know that everything will work out for the best. But we are all human and the fear is there. With your help, my f2f friends, my family and God, I will get through this.

Just want you to know that you have been a big part of my experience here on the realm and have come to see you as a friend and a brother.
You have given me much from sharing your ES&H and showing me how you work your program.
I wish the timing of our move/your challenge could have worked out so I could be with you in the flesh. Know I am there in spirit and prayer.
I’m looking forward to hitting some meetings and doing some fishing soon.
