I am very greatful to be clean and sober today. Some things have been going on and over the past little while and the past couple days have been the hardest and I almost gave up and picked up. But because of your support, caring, encouragement and laughs, I made it through without a drink or drug. And because of that I was able to face today, a day that I was dreading so badly and made it through finding out good news and that nothing was as I thought it was going to be. I am so greatful to you all here and to my sponcer. To those who knew what was going on, THANK YOU for your support and caring and sticking by me. to those who didnt know what was going on THANK YOU also. you each have helped me get through this weather you realized it or not and I just want to say thank you.

For those who are new to recovery, I am not that far along in it myself, but I want to say, that no matter how bad things seem, no matter how scared you get or how much of a struggle it might be, just hang on and dont give in to the temptation, because there is nothing a drink or drug will help. I had to keep telling myself that over the past few days and had others reminding me of the same. I am so glad I didnt pick up. I have a new lease on life today in more ways than one and I am sooooo happy to be clean, sober , alive and to have you all as a part of my recovery. thank you all for being here and a part of my recovery and life.
