Hey everyone. I am in search of a sponsor right now, I can't seem to get a hold of mine these days. I am trying to go to NA meetings and hoping to find a sponsor that hopefully does the SMA as well, but I have yet to find one. I am in need of sponsor bad, these last few months have been really rocky and I don't have a sponsor to share it with and find ways to get through it and recover. Will someone please be my sponsor until I find one that is here near me? Jen

Jen, look high and low, AA and NA. there are no online SMA sponsors yet. have a look at Dresdens thred for more info on this topcic, You wont be able to tell if ther person you ask has experiance in SI let anole know if they are recovering. good like with your search. remember. The substance/behavoiur is ONLY MENTIONED IN TH 1ST STEP. you only need one sponser, no matter how hany programs you work. make sure us a good all rounded recoverying in her life perosn, she does not have to have experianced SI but you sure wold ne suprised. 1 in every 5 teens in america admit to self harming in some form or other. it is not that uncomon. people ither understand or they dont.

What do Recovery Realm and a rubber duck have in common? They both keep you company when you're getting clean.
