hi my name is Levia  am  30 from the uk

i am in recovey for  a drink problem   the last time i  dank was 2 years ago

i also self harm i have DID BPD  PTSD  and other mental health problems

I'm new to these boards, too.  Seems like we have a lot in common.  I've been sober for over 20 years, have had major issues with SI and also was diagnosed with DID (only it was called MPD when I was diagnosed).


Anyway, nice to meet you.  Hope we get to know each other better.

Good place for you. You'll fit right in. The thing I love about this site is it looks at the solution for the whole problem, not just the booze or the drugs.
I too deal with PTSD... but DID is a new one to me... what is it?

Hi Hobie,

Hope you don't mind me answering this question. DID stands for Dissociative Identity Disorder (formally known as Mulitple Personality Disorder). If you do a quick search on the internet you should be able to find the basics. Hope that helps.
