Welcome Alana ! We hope to see some of your ESH shared in our chat room blogs, and Message Forums.
Our site was established in November of 2006 and our Chatroom format came online in April 2007. So in the world of Recovery sites we are still considered Newbies.
Many people visit the forums daily and we have provided a "Shout box" for u to talk to people reading the forums page only. Our meetings and general fellowship can be found in our Chat room which is open 24/7.
Because our membership is growing, you may find times when our chat room may not be as active as it is at other times. We suggest. if you are going to be online, to simply login to the chat room and open a new browser window so you can also surf the net, when some one comes into the chat room your audio will inform you.
Our site does very well with total views per day, it's just a matter of timing. Below is a LOG of people visiting our site over the past 3 days.

| I am new here...although my sobriety date is April 4 1994 I have not done what I am supposed to and as a result I got really sick this past yr...mentally , spiritually and as a result I had a breakdown and now have really bad anxiety again so I dont get out much. I want to get better..I close my eyes and I remember what it was like...I was reading something yesterday that talked about how its good you can read all the readings and write etc but you also need to connect with others in recovery...I realized this this weekend after spending time with my sister who is not one of us and doesnt get what I am going through...Im glad to be here. |

BTW Yassine when did they start AA meetings in Morocco? I sponsored a gent there, over the net, a long time ago and he said there were no meetings there.

Welcome everyone. I am fairly new to the site, although thankfully not new to recovery, although all I really have is today. I keep trying to find someone on line during the wee hours since I am a night owl. I work nights as believe it or not a waiter/bartender (emphasis on the Waiter part). Well this is my very first posting so I will keep it short. Again welcome everyone. I am looking forward to getting to know one another in this site and share laughter, experience, strength and hope as well as fellowship and good times.
