I am grateful for the very experience of this gift called "life."  The up and down roller-coaster ride that makes it worthwhile.

I am grateful for another day clean and sober and to have good friends without all the chaos that came with drinking and drugging and old friends.

Oh I love this thread, let's not let it stop........ Today I am grateful that I am in the process of learning that in EVERY situation, give thanks and be grateful ! When I look beyond my circumstances, and see the positive, I can then be grateful for the pain, hurt, whatever it is, and I get hope. Today I am grateful for hope too.

I am grateful that I have Recovery Realm. My f2f tonight was a dud. Everybody was stuck on a soap box and a couple newcomers had ALL the answers.

It's a good day to be sober

I'm grateful for flannel pants, a comfortable sweat shirt, a thick balnket, kittens that like to cuddle and a wife that likes to snuggle to keep me warm on a cold winter's night.

I am grateful that God has, thru each of you, shown me that WE can stay sober NO MATTER WHAT......and I AM living proof.... I just want to whisper "Thank You God, for your love, and for recovery...Thank You for those willing to love me till I can love myself...and above all, Thank You for keeping me SOBER when my child passed away..."

RECOVERY IS REAL, and so is God.....much love, da frog
