I'm an alcoholic. I have been for 15 years. I'm 36 years old. I drink to escape my worry. I'm a married mom of 2 (12, 1 yrs old). And even though I limit my drinking to weeknights when my husband is working his 2nd job after the kids are asleep, I'm powerless over alcohol and I need help. I'm searching for a local meeting but also needed something now. I pray that I can do this!

     Welcome mama.fishie I'm glad you found this site.  Have you tried coming into the chatroom yet?  If not don't be afraid to cause we all started out where you are right now.  We all have different stories and different lives but We are ALL here for the same reason and that is to share are "Experience, Strength and Hope" with each other.

     There are some here that are only but an hour sober and some that are 10 years + sober no matter how long one has been sober we all want what each other has and that is "Serenity" and to come here and talk to each other for WE understand each other.

     If you go to home page and click "Meetings" you will see that we have many meetings here; as well as a "Great" women's meeting 3 times a week.  So please just come in and say Hello you will see we are all just normal people we have fun here and are very serious about Helping Each Other when needed.
